When you consider the Network Marketing business model we see a system that has the potential to create an enormous amount of wealth and with relative ease.  Sure dedication and persistence is required as is with most things in life.  Some companies have really great products and excellent compensation plans that offer some serious leverage.  So why is it that there are so many failure stories around and silly statistics like a retention rate of 15%?

Over the last few months i’ve had contact with many people in this industry and those that have failed have all said it’s because of a lack of training and support that they have failed.  Nearly all I spoke to said that the extent of their training pretty much boiled down to talking to friends and family, door-to-door, bothering people in social gatherings and leaving those annoying ‘income opportunity cards’ on car windscreens.

In the modern world this won’t really cut it, we are well aware these days business opportunities are 10 to a penny and there is always someone dying to pitch us in their business, so as a society we have built up a resistance to the common sales pitch.  Most folk will discover that the old fashioned sponsoring methods are not effective in developing a great team of folks in our business.  I discovered this for myself in my early mlm days.

If you’re looking for a way to boost up your Network Marketing business then you must consider online marketing, it’s really not that difficult when you get the hang of it.  You should leverage the power of the internet to brand and market yourself and what you can offer to your prospects.  Offer value to people in the form of information and education, get yourself known via the various social web 2.0 sites, by writing articles you become an authority that people will respect.  These are all methods that will get the word out about you and what you can offer.

Giving real value is the way to go and if you do this you will attract more prospects than just spamming with a replicated website.  People tend to switch off to such websites in todays market, there are millions of people out there pushing links to a standard company website that claims to be the the only system that works

By being someone that offers value and worth you will become attractive, people will be drawn to you and your knowledge and will be more likely to join your organisation.  Always remember people do business with people that they trust, its human nature.  Your prospects need a leader to follow and to instruct them, you can become that leader if you will allow it to happen and are prepared to educate yourself.  It’s only the leaders that will be the top earners in this industry, make definite you will be one of them and make certain sure that you are employing a network marketing system that will recruit and teach your prospects in the most useful way possible!
